Cookie Policy
Last updated October 25, 2026. This policy explains the cookies and browser storage this website uses, why we use them, how long they last and how you control them. It adds to our Privacy policy.
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Similar tools, such as local storage and session storage, keep small settings on your device. In this policy we call them all cookies.
When you first visit, a banner asks before we use any analytics cookies. Until you choose Accept, only essential storage is used. You can change your mind at any time with Your Privacy Choices at the bottom of every page, or with the button below. We ask again after 12 months.
Open Cookie SettingsThese keep the site working and secure. They do not track you, so they do not need your consent.
czConsent (local storage, 12 months): remembers your cookie choice.
czPrefs (local storage, until you reset it): the display settings you pick with the accessibility icon, such as larger text.
czSearch2 (session storage, until you close the tab): the site search index, so search answers quickly.
Rental tools (session storage, until you close the tab): keeps your place while you use a tool or compare results.
CF_Authorization (cookie on my.cozycasasrentals.com, for your sign-in session): keeps you signed in to the portal securely. It is set only when you sign in.
Security cookies from Cloudflare, such as __cf_bm (up to 30 minutes): help tell people from bots and protect the site from abuse.
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read, which site sent you and what kind of device you use, so we can improve the site. It shows us totals, not who you are. We do not use it for advertising and do not combine it with information that identifies you.
_ga (cookie, 2 years): a random number that tells one visitor from another.
_ga_ followed by our site ID (cookie, 2 years): keeps track of your current visit.
Without your OK, Google Analytics sets no cookies and sends Google only a basic signal that a page was viewed, with no identifier, which Google uses to estimate totals. If you turn analytics off later, we delete these cookies from your browser.
How Google uses information from sites that use its services
None. We do not use advertising or social-media tracking cookies. If we ever add them, we will update this policy first, and they will stay off unless you turn on Advertising in Your Privacy Choices.
Google Fonts provides the site's fonts and the OpenStreetMap service provides map images. They see your IP address when your browser asks for them but set no cookies for us.
Our rental tools and chat assistant run on our own service at Cloudflare and use only the session storage listed above.
Booking pages run by our booking system, and the social sites we link to (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google), have their own cookie policies. Their cookies apply only when you visit them.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information: advertising cookies stay off and cannot be turned on from that browser. We do not sell or share personal information either way. Because we do not track you across other websites, the site works the same whether or not your browser sends Do Not Track; use the cookie settings to control analytics.
Most browsers let you see, block and delete cookies in their settings. Blocking essential storage may stop some features, such as saved display settings or portal sign-in, from working.
We will update this policy when the cookies we use change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
